Once upon a time during a holiday party many many years ago, Kalani asked Sunshine for a cocktail.  Normally Sunshine is happy to oblige and quickly fashions a cocktail for anyone who asks. But on this occasion Sunshine was well into a drunken conversation with another partygoer.  Kalani wandered into the kitchen to make herself a beverage.  She looked around and assessed what was available on the makeshift bar and tossed a few ingredients into a glass with ice.  After a few sips she realized that she might be onto something.  Her drink was passed around from lip to lip and sip to sip.  What a wonderful holiday beverage she had created.  This was the birth of Kalanis' Punani.
